Tuesday: Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron has got it covered for great personal style.  I like what she puts together and I think she looks great.  I can spot a stylist a mile away and even if she does have one, there is a huge element of great personal style that she has going on.

Saturday: MARTHA STEWART A GRANDMOTHER!

The Stewart line continues...Martha Stewart is a grandmother! More importantly, Alexis Stewart became a mother.  If you are familiar with Alexis of the "Whatever! Radio with Alexis and Jennifer Radio, she has been trying for years to have a baby of her own but was unable to.

Alexis Stewart
Martha Stewart tweeted:
"jude stewart, born 3-8-11,6lbs.13oz,19 1/2 in long pretty pretty baby. strong and alert alexis is a wonderful mother to my first grand[daughter]"

The name Jude means "to praise, have thanks".  I really love the name.

Here she is!
A beautiful beautiful baby!

You can watch Martha's comments on her new granddaughter here.

Martha is already buying the baby tons of new gifts. "She was born at 1 in the morning, and Martha brings in this huge box from Bergdorf," Alexis says. "I open it up and I look inside and it's full of baby clothes, all with embroidery, and I'm like, 'Wow, I guess I'm going to be allowed to buy myself something really nice because all this stuff's going back!"

Moje Najszczersze Gratulacje Alexis, Martha, and Stewart family!

Martha
Best wishes on your new baby. She is beautiful!

Friday: Japan

I was devastated to hear last night of Japan's 8.9 earthquake and tsunami aftermath like much of the world.

My favorite picture of my mom at the Greenbriar in 83? I love it because she is wearing hot pink Yves Saint Laurent.

Sunday: 2011 Oscars

If you follow me on twitter (@Sarah310) then you will see I was tweeting during the Oscars.  So you can see my opinions there of the entire show.

Everyone does best dressed. Here are my picks:

Fashion badass. Givenchy Haute Couture.
Top is leather with pearls, at the bottom it's alllll chiffon!

Dress by Calvin Klein and Louis Vuitton jewels.

Gwyneth you are SO THIN!

I was so impressed with her look.

I loved this look. She looks elegant and sophisticated.

But who cares. This is what I would have worn if I had been nominated.  Green Oscar de la Renta: BAM!

Perfection!

If I was just invited to the Oscars and it wasn't my "moment" I would have worn this:

Yes.

Or if I HAD to be subtle:

Totally

I enjoyed the show! I hope you did as well. Until next year Oscars....

Sunday: Oscars

This post isn't about actual the show the Oscars, if really a post about if you come to Los Angeles and want to see something on Oscar night.

Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly

I will take this time to say that this is the first year I have disagreed with the Academy on who was nominated for Best Actress.
Gwyneth Paltrow for "Country Strong"
Kimberly Elise for "For Colored Girls"

Best Supporting Actress:
Phylicia Rashad for "For Colored Girls"

I can't believe "For Colored Girls" wasn't nominated.  I'm honestly annoyed that Black Swan will win so many awards. I feel they should only win for "Best Costume" by Rodarte and they aren't even nominated in that category!

As you can see, I won an Oscar last year.  For Best Girlfriend.

If you want to see Oscar stuff going on. DO NOT. I repeat do not bother trying to get to Hollywood and Highland to the Kodak.  You will not see a thing. I promise you that.

Go to Saddle Ranch on 8371 Sunset Blvd and have dinner and drinks.  Once the Oscars are over, and they have eaten dinner at the Governor's Ball, you will see all the celebrities you want going in and out of the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.  Some of the celebs walk there (I don't know why) so you can see tons of people.  Some of them don't want to wait in traffic to be officially let out of their cars so they get out of their cars way down the road and walk to the Sunset Tower Hotel.

Also you can go to In and Out at 7009 Sunset Blvd and try to see celebrities which we did last year as well.  We only saw Miranda from Sex and the City and talked to a paparazzi for 20 minutes.

Faye Dunaway at the Beverly Hills Hotel

I will be watching it at home but it really is fun to go out on Oscar night..

Friday: Terms of Endearment

I love this song and I love the movie "Terms of Endearment"

Here's the trailer if you haven't seen this movie:

This is one movie poster I would totally have in my house.

Come to laugh, come to cry, come to care, come to terms
